About Us

The Albemarle Symphony Orchestra (ASO) (formerly the Crozet Community Orchestra) was launched in October 2013 by co-founders Denise Murray and Philip Clark, with the goal of serving the greater Crozet community through performance, education and community outreach to enhance the community’s appreciation and understanding of orchestral music.  We performed our first public concert at Tabor Presbyterian Church on Dec 10, 2013 with 16 string musicians.

Support Us

Thank you so very much for investing in your community orchestra! The ASO is a 501(c)(3) Virginia charitable nonprofit corporation. All donations are very much appreciated and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
